Footpaths and hiking tours

In the competition to choose the "Best Walking Destination 07/08", the Montafon region reached third place in the Austrian category. Especially popular are the Montafon themed footpaths, guided walks and the MONTAFON-SILVRETTA-CARD.

There are 500 km of marked footpaths, whilst walkers' buses, cable cars and chairlifts shorten distances and aid access to the sunny mountain-tops.

Here are some helpful walking and hiking suggestions, together with information on walking guides and much more besides.
